Updating boot camp 2 1
While in Windows, do a Right-Click on the Boot Camp Tray Icon - choose About Boot Camp and see if the version reported is 2.1.While in Windows you can use the 'Apple Software Update' to see if there are any updates avaiable. I may wait until Snow Leopard is released and just reinstall everything. For what it's worth, Win7 is actually better than Vista. 🙂 Although Ubuntu with the KDE desktop is a lot better than Windows. Now then, if I can find a replacement to Toast, either on Ubuntu or Windows, I'll be a happy camper! The i Sight is not that big of a deal, but the sound would be nice.I've yet to figure out how to delete Microsoft's driver, and install the correct driver.Go back and boot into Mac OS X again, and get the latest Boot Camp software.

Just a question to those here that can't install 2.1 Do you have LOGMEIN VNC client installed in your Windows partition. Once is 2.1 installed you can reinstall the LOGMEIN VNC if needs be. Windows 7 is solid, and one of those few instances where microsoft actually listened to it's customers complaints, and fixed them, overall making a better product for both parties.
This adds an additional graphics driver that blocks the 2.1 updater. If you don't mind a bit of german language, here's a good source For 'simple' burning with Windows I use Deep Burner (free), if you look for a complete suite I would propose Nero.
