Consolidating files in logic 9
Whether you’re organizing your own work or collecting files from your entire team, combining PDFs and other documents into a single file is a crucial step in presenting cohesive, easily accessible reports and presentations that your clients and colleagues will love.
If you’ve recorded your song in Cubase and need to export the individual tracks to send for song mixing here’s what you do.
This also means that i Tunes will locate all music on your computer and add it automatically, making the i Tunes consolidation process much faster than manually adding music.
The i Tunes program, as installed on Macintosh computers, is set to consolidate by default.
It will open a window listing errors and if you click on the error it will open the offending file at the line it found the error.
Often this is enough to find an error severe enough to choke a reader, though the errors can be cryptic.
Now you’ll name the tracks, usually the song name, which you’ll add in the field “Name”.
To create this article, volunteer authors worked to edit and improve it over time. This means that i Tunes will be accessing each song directly, wherever it may be on your computer.
In our example, we’ve set the locators from bar 1 to about bar 65.
You’ll also see your midi tracks here, which you can also export as well.
You can do this by going to Path and right clicking on an empty area to “Create a new folder”.
Another good idea is to include the tempo and song key somewhere in the folder name.
